Appointments and More Appointments

The dentist can't see me until next week. I did see my primary care yesterday. There will be an x-ray, physical therapy and a visit with an ortho doc for the shoulder. A blood draw in a month to see what the excessive amount of Ibuprofen and Tylenol has done to my kidneys.

I am not too happy with all the appointments in my near future. I am so glad I have a chauffeur for all of this. I sold my car, as we rarely go anywhere alone. I will apply that money to a tooth implant.

I have been watching a lot of TV, commercials and all. I tend to sing along with Jardiance ad. It does have a catchy tune, and the dogs appreciate my abilities as I belt it out. I find it a little sad that I know all the words. Drew told me I should try out to do the ad.

We were watching The Voice when it occurred to me that it would be so funny if a contestant chose to sing an ad. It would make a great skit for SNL. This prompted me to tell Drew how lucky he was to be married to me ... I am quick witted and fun! He grunted in response, so maybe I overestimated my charms. Eddie and Bo agreed with me. I doubt Toni Louise even heard me, as she was busy scratching the floor and something only she could see.

Do dogs get dementia?  If so, she would be a great candidate. She has never been the brightest one in my pack of dogs. When she was younger, she would chase her own tail for hours. Don't be thinking she doesn't get lots of love from me. She gets her fair share and more than her fair share from Drew. We all know Eddie has my heart, but Bo is so cute, everybody gives him love.

Another storm is heading our way. It was almost balmy this morning when I took the dogs out, but the temperature has been dropping all day. Daffodils have popped up and bloomed. I wandered around a bit and noted that lilies and tulips were sticking up. Wonder what this frigid weather will do to them.

The news is on, but I want to stick my head in the sand and not listen to what is going on in the world. Too depressing.

  1. Yes, good thing you have a chauffeur for your appointments. A lucky chauffeur! If the radio goes off, like mine has been doing recently, he will have YOU TO SING TO HIM FOR THE WHOLE TRIP! Maybe you can add some more drug jingles to your repertoire.
