Cautiously Feeling Better
I am finally feeling almost human again. The past few days have been rough. I went to the salon and got a much-needed haircut and missed my nap today. I am tired, but not overwhelmingly so. I will be going to bed early tonight.
My internet signal has been iffy since last week. Today is normal. Yesterday I finally got the crown put back on the post. I did suggest he get some gorilla glue for patients such as myself. After that I picked up prescriptions and then we went to vote. It was very quick, since my state had no referendums to read. I took a nap as soon as we got home from all the running around. No idea why the afternoon found me in so much pain. My hand was hurting and sending pains to my fingers and wrist. I have decided the cyst is not an octopus, but a jelly fish! The pain feels like bee stings, which is similar to what a jellyfish will do.
My back started aching after I changed the bed sheets and then supervised The Man with the vacuum. I was exhausted and sat down while The Man rinsed out Toni Louise's diaper and the pee pads from the floor. It was impressive that he managed all that without help from me! Just proves that he can do all the things I normally do!
I don't know what I did, but my back had a twinge, then my neck and shoulder stiffened. I went to bed at 7:30 and fought my old foe, insomnia for a few hours, then finally succumbed to the pain and took 2 ibuprofen and 2 acetaminophens together and got enough relief to be able to sleep.
Today was a new day. The sun shone down on me as I walked around admiring my crocus and daffodils. I was chatting with Lucy and Marble, as they followed me, but still avoided being touched. Kevin came running to play with Lucy and they greeted each with head rubs. I was watching them play wrestle when I took notice of Marble. She was walking up the steps to the upper level of the yard and her belly, her big round belly, swayed from side to side.
Looks like there will be more kittens in the very near future. I just hope she does not eat one of hers! I have been told that we might need a kitten from this litter. That was The Man who told me I could have no more pets!
I finally remembered to call the surgeon about my hand and the X-ray. The hand has been on the back burner as my body acclimates to my new drug regime, but shouldn't they have called me? I was promised a call back today but didn't get one. Looks like I will have to go to Gainesville after all. Do I expect too much?
It's a shame to hear that a feral cat is pregnant again.
