Crazy Cat Lady

Slowly getting my strength back. The newest drug is definitely helping the arrythmia that has plagued me since my 30's. I am so behind with my gardens this season. I need to get started on the vegetable garden.

Kevin had decided that anywhere I dig must be a cat latrine. I don't mind it so much in the flower gardens, but I draw the line in my vegetables! I see lots of netting in my immediate future. Kevin has been a little bit wicked today. He has been climbing the big trees and then looking down and calling out to me. It is highly unlikely that I will attempt a rescue. He got up there and he will get down.

I have yet to locate the new litter of kittens. Marble looks so skinny and follows me around begging for food. Of course, I feed her and supplement the food she gets every evening. Lucy is most definitely pregnant. I will be called a crazy cat lady!

We lived in Albany Georgia in the 80's. There was a notorious Cat Lady that walked the streets there. She would lick her hands and then run them over her face and through her hair until she was shiny with saliva. She chose to "bathe" herself in the most public of places she could find. She liked to do this in view of McDonald's patrons. On the public sidewalk, not in the parking lot. You could call the police, but they rarely bothered to pick her up and try to get her some help, just told her that parking lots were privately owned and to stay on the sidewalk. That would make her a very legitimate Crazy Cat Lady.

Memories lurking in the shadows of my mind tend to jump out at the oddest times!
